
Mr Tony Jones, Board Chair
Mr Jones has more than 30 years’ experience as an adviser and executive in health related businesses. He has been the managing director of Penant Capital since 2008. Penant Capital advises for profit and not for profit companies on strategy, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships/joint ventures, financing and stakeholder relations. He was previously a member of the Group Executive at Medibank Private Limited as Group Manager Strategy and Communications (2004 to 2008) and co-head of Consumer, Healthcare and Leisure investment banking at Deutsche Bank AG in Australia and New Zealand including roles on related global teams (1994-2004). Prior to this he worked as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse and Arthur Andersen providing audit, tax and business advisory services.

Ms Rachelle Anstey, Chief Financial Officer/Executive Director, Financial Services, Monash Health
Ms Anstey joined Monash Health in 2021 as Chief Financial Officer, with responsibility for Procurement, Logistics, Internal Audit, and Financial Services. Rachelle has a strong record of achievement and a wealth of experience across a broad range of industries and organisations, including public health. An expert in continuous improvement, Rachelle focuses on improving reporting and decision making for all levels of the organisation. Before joining Monash Health, Rachelle was Executive Director of Finance at Peninsula Health, providing critical insights and commercial guidance to support the organisation’s strategic direction. Rachelle has also worked in senior finance roles for Alfred Health, Melbourne Water and RACV, leading large teams to deliver successful financial, payroll and revenue services alongside procurement and supply programs.

Mrs Jane Bell BEc, LLB, LLM (Lond), FAICD
Mrs Bell is a banking and finance lawyer and non-executive director with more than 30 years’ experience in leading law firms, financial services, and corporate treasury operations gained living in Melbourne, London, Toronto, San Francisco and Brisbane. Mrs Bell has been a non-executive director since 2002, serving on 14 boards including 10 health and medical research boards. Mrs Bell currently serves as the Deputy Chair of Monash Health, a Director of Mesoblast Limited (ASX:MSB), (Nasdaq:MESO), Amplia Therapeutics Limited (ASX:ATX), and is a Member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Mrs Bell is a former Chair of Melbourne Health (Royal Melbourne Hospital), Chair of Biomedical Research Vic, Deputy Chair of Westernport Water Corporation, Director of UCA Funds Management, WorkSafe Victoria, Hudson Institute of Medical Research-Monash Institute of Medical Research-Prince Henry’s Institute of Medical Research, Queensland Institute of Medical Research Trust, Australian Red Cross (Qld), Victorian Women’s Housing Association and Chair of the Community Advisory Group of the Melbourne Genomics Health Alliance.
Jane holds a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Melbourne, Master of Laws from Kings College, London, Bachelor of Economics from Monash University and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr Stuart Donaldson
Mr Donaldson was Chief Financial Officer of Monash Health from January 2017 to November 2021. Prior to this, Stuart was the Chief Financial Officer for RMIT University for seven years; and then previously held a number of senior finance roles within the FMCG Industry, notably Chief Financial Officer for Cadbury Schweppes Australia and New Zealand. These roles have enabled Stuart to develop excellent financial acumen, combined with strategic thinking and commercial know how, to partner businesses to deliver on both the long term and short-term agenda. His experience across many facets of business include, acquisitions, divestments, negotiation of funding facilities, system implementations, implementation of reporting and purchasing systems, shared business services (on shore and off shore), strategic tax initiatives, organisational change management, implementing Integrated Business Management processes, driving improvement in key performance indicators and embedding financial business partnering. Stuart is a Fellow of the Certified Practising Accountants of Australia.

Dr Wayne Ramsey, AM CSC
Dr Ramsey has had more than 35 years’ experience in medical management. He had a long and distinguished career in the Australian Defence Force that culminated with his final appointment as Director General Defence Health Service. Other more recent senior appointments have included Director Clinical Governance ACT Health and Adjunct Associate Professor at the ANU Medical School. In 2013 he retired after more than six years as Executive Director Medical Services and Quality with Monash Health, Victoria’s largest and most complex health service.
Dr Ramsey’s professional interests lie in the field of clinical and research governance. He holds an MB BS, BMed Sc, MHA, Grad Cert Higher Ed and FRACMA.

Mr Andrew Stripp, Chief Executive, Monash Health
Andrew has extensive experience in executive roles in a variety of hospitals and health care settings; and within the State Government’s Department of Health and Human Services as the Director for the State’s mental health system, as Regional Director for Health, Housing and Community Services and as Director of Strategy.
Immediately prior to joining Monash Health, he was the Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer at Alfred Health.
