Bio:
Dr Roger Peverill trained in cardiology at Prince Henry’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre and completed his PhD on the echocardiographic assessment of the potential for cardiac thrombosis at Monash Medical Centre and Monash University.
He has particular clinical interests in heart failure, pulmonary hypertension and the assessment of dyspnoea using echocardiography. Dr Peverill’s main research interest is echocardiographic assessment of cardiac function. He has a long standing interest in the teaching of echocardiography, including echocardiography fellows and sonographers. He is an invited reviewer for various international journals and has been a reviewer for the NHF and NHMRC.
